Madge May, RN
Home Health Administrator
Madge began her employment with Memorial Hospital’s Home Care Division in 1992 as a field clinician in Martin County, Kentucky. Shortly thereafter, she worked as a patient care supervisor, assistant administrator, and became Memorial’s Administrator in 1999. She provides administrative oversight and leadership for Memorial’s five home health agencies. Madge has 15 years of home health experience in addition to a background in long-term care and medical surgical nursing.
Madge is accountable for the operation of all agency programs and assumes the responsibility for meeting the department’s mission through personnel management; including selection of staff, monitoring of performance and evaluation and the acceptance of patients for care. In addition, Madge is responsible for maintaining intercommunications, clinical management, resource management, and business development. She organizes and directs the department’s ongoing functions in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
She is actively involved with the Kentucky and West Virginia State Home Health Associations and serves as an elected member of the nominating committee for Kentucky Home Health Association.
Connie Murphy RN
Branch Manager Mingo-Wayne Home Health
Connie graduated from Mayo Vocational School as a LPN in 1981. She worked in a small community hospital in Irvine, Kentucky for 14 months before returning to her home town in Martin County, Kentucky. After gaining experience in a long term care facility and physician’s practice, Connie began her career with Martin County Home Health as a LPN. She continued to pursue her education at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, where she received her Associate Degree in Science and became a Registered Nurse. She worked as field RN and case manager in Martin County until she accepted the position of patient care supervisor for Mingo-Wayne Home Health in 1999.
Connie continues to work as branch manager at Mingo-Wayne Home Health, she has been with the Adventist Health System for 12 ½ years.
